Postpartum Depression (PPD)

It’s common for new moms to experience the “baby blues” following childbirth- crying, mood swings, and anxiety. Generally, this only last for a couple of weeks.

However, when you find yourself continuously feeling this way without signs of improvement, you may be struggling with Postpartum Depression.

You might feel any of the symptoms above and/or anger, lack of connection with your baby, withdrawing from your child, guilty about not a good mother, worrying that you will hurt your child, or doubting your ability to take care of your child.
